He completed his residency in radiation oncology at the University of Florida and an internal medicine internship at Mass General Brigham. He holds a medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Biology from MIT. Dr. Liauw is the Director of Clinical Operations at the University of Chicago Medical Center, with expertise in brachytherapy, prostate cancer, stereotactic radiosurgery, and intensity-modulated radiation therapy. His research includes publications on various cancer treatment modalities. He has led clinical trials on kidney and prostate cancer treatments. Dr. Liauw has received multiple CMS Meaningful Use Stage certifications and was awarded the Samuel Hellman Outstanding Teacher of the Year at the University of Chicago.
