He served 29-years in the Army as a clinician, commander, and staff officer retiring at the rank of colonel. Following his Army career, Dr. Braverman served 9-years as a senior executive with the Veterans Health Administration as a health system CEO, regional health network CEO and VHA Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Braverman has contributed to several publications on physical medicine and rehabilitation. He has received multiple honors such as the Distinguished Service Medal and the Army Medical Department Medallion.
