- Terrence Keaney, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist with specialized training in cutaneous laser, hair, and dermatologic surgery. Dr. Keaney specializes in the latest noninvasive cosmetic procedures, including dermal filler and toxin injections, laser skin resurfacing, regenerative medicine procedures such as platelet rich plasma (PRP), surgical hair restoration, body contouring, skin tightening, and the treatment of scars. He is a national and international thought leader, educator, and clinical researcher with multiple peer-reviewed journal articles in such publications as Dermatologic Surgery, Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and Journal of Investigative Dermatology. Dr. Keaney has served as principal investigator in multiple clinical studies including FDA Phase III trials of the latest dermal fillers and neuromodulators. His expertise has made him a frequent speaker at medical professional meetings where he has delivered over 100 national and international lectures. Dr. Keaney is a dedicated educator in advanced injection techniques traveling around the United States to train physicians and aesthetic providers.
Dr. Keaney is co-founder of SkinDC, a large private practice in the Washington, DC area, Clinical Associate Professor at George Washington University. Dr. Keaney graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and was elected as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society. His dermatology training included a residency at the University of Miami (FL), a clinical research fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and a fellowship in laser surgery.
