Summary
- Dr. Nosé combines her subspecialty expertise in endocrine pathology, thyroid pathology, and familial tumor syndromes to investigate key topics in molecular and genetic aspects of neoplasia. Dr. Nosé’s research in endocrine pathology, tumor pathology, molecular aspects of neoplasia, and familial tumor syndromes has resulted in numerous publications with over 150 peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Nosé described the pathological classification of familial thyroid tumors, inherited tumor syndromes, as well as the pituitary pathology synoptic reporting. Dr. Nosé wrote over 100 book chapters, most of them with results of her research activities. She is the author of the CAP endocrine pathology competencies. She has served as a consultant for difficult endocrine pathology cases locally, regionally, and internationally. She had served on the editorial boards of numerous pathology journals and is a past President of the Endocrine Pathology Society. Dr. Nosé has also numerous publications on quality assurance in surgical pathology and error reduction in surgical pathology. She is very active as a teacher and lecturer in many post-graduate courses, nationally and internationally. In addition to her research interests, Dr. Nosé authored a comprehensive textbook in endocrine pathology titled “Diagnostic Pathology: Endocrine” and is also the author of “Diagnostic Pathology: Familial Cancer Syndromes”.
