He has active and consulting privileges at Atrium Health-Pineville NC and Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill SC. He received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed postgraduate training at the University of Colorado in both Family Practice and Orthopaedic Surgery, and was the associate director of the U. of Colorado-Ft. Collins family practice residency program.
    Dr. Lehman is the senior partner of Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute Orthopedics and Sports Medicine-Rock Hill (previously Carolina Orthopaedic Surgery Associates). This is a well-respected orthopaedic practice, established in 1983.
    Dr. Lehman has been certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery since 1987, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is an active member of the South Carolina Medical Association and the South Carolina Orthopaedic Association.
    He has a special interest in minimally invasive orthopedic spine procedures and joint reconstruction, including kyphoplasty, intraosseous vertebral nerve ablation, anterior approach hip arthroplasty and uni-compartmental knee arthroplasty.
    Dr. Lehman is also actively committed to international public health, particularly as it relates to orthopaedic care and access. Volunteer positions in a number of countries have been augmented by his wife's pediatric neurodevelopmental occupational therapy training.
