Overview of  Dr. Runge

William Runge, MD, is an orthopaedic surgeon based in Colorado Springs, CO, specializing in elbow, hand, and shoulder surgery. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Emory University School of Medicine, followed by fellowships in hand surgery at Hospital for Special Surgery/Cornell Medical Center and shoulder and elbow surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. In addition to his medical training, he holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, an MS in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and was a Fulbright Scholar in Aerospace Engineering. Dr. Runge practices at UcHealth Memorial Health System and has authored several publications, notably on distal radius fracture surgeries. He has received honors such as an Albert Schweitzer Fellowship and a US Fulbright Scholarship.
