Jeff Tangney
Co-founder and CEO

Jeff is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Doximity. He also serves as a member of the company’s board of directors. Since launch, Jeff has led through the founding principle of “physicians first” emphasizing the goal of keeping care-givers and their needs central to all of the company’s major decisions. Prior to Doximity, Jeff co-founded Epocrates, Inc., a mobile medical reference app, where he held various management positions including chief operating officer and executive vice president of sales and marketing. Jeff worked as a healthcare investment analyst at Goldman Sachs, and a manager of software development at ZS Associates, a consulting and professional services firm. He holds a B.S. in Economics and Math from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Shari Buck
Co-founder

As the former head of product and throughout her tenure at Doximity, Shari has been core to defining and developing the platform’s foundational features. She currently is focused on corporate marketing, driving the growth of member adoption and utilization. In her role leading the People team, Shari is heavily invested in maintaining company culture and works to help Doximity connect, develop and care for its employees. Shari’s career has always been at the intersection of healthcare and technology, holding product roles at a variety of health tech startups and Epocrates, Inc. prior to Doximity. She holds a B.A. in Political Economy from Princeton University.

Nate Gross, M.D.
Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer

Nate leads the company’s long-term strategic vision and ensures the alignment of short and long-range plans, strategic investment roadmaps, and channel-level strategies and objectives. He is also co-founder of Rock Health, a full-service seed fund that supports startups working in digital health. Nate holds an M.D. from Emory University School of Medicine as well as an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He also earned a B.A. in Government from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California.

Anna Bryson
Chief Financial Officer

Anna leads financial strategy and operations in support of the company’s rapid growth trajectory. Since 2017, Anna has held various senior finance roles within the company, including her most recent role as Vice President of Strategic Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). Prior to joining Doximity, Anna was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of ACB Capital, an investment advisory firm. She holds both a B.A. and an M.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford in England.

Lisa Greenbaum
Chief Commercial Officer

Lisa Greenbaum leads the company’s commercial strategy, commercial product, and sales efforts. Prior to joining Doximity, Lisa spent over 30 years in the healthcare and tech industries. She served as Chief Commercial Officer at Verily, Alphabet's healthcare company, and as Chief Client Officer at Progyny. In addition, Lisa spent 15 years at WebMD where she was Group General Manager, SVP, leading the Medscape business. She began her career at Procter & Gamble and Merck. Lisa holds a B.A. from Duke University.

Jey Balachandran
Chief Technology Officer

Jey is responsible for leading the continued development and scaling of all aspects of Doximity’s digital platform. Jey has been with Doximity for over a decade and has extensive experience as both a leader and an engineer in building the company’s core technologies and cloud services. Prior to joining Doximity, Jey spent several years as an interactive developer at Sapient, and he began his career with an appointment to Environment Canada, where he worked as a software engineer for the Canadian administration responsible for the government’s response to the climate change crisis. He received his H.B.Sc. in computer science from the University of Toronto in Canada.

Amit Phull, M.D.
Chief Physician Experience Officer

Amit bridges Doximity’s commercial strategy with its user-facing platform and products, helping ensure that feature development aligns with clinical utility and need. Board-certified in Emergency Medicine, Amit completed residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, where he currently serves as adjunct faculty. Amit is also Clinical Assistant Professor at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Prior to working at Doximity, Amit worked at Bain & Company. He holds an M.D. and a B.S. in computer science from the University of Virginia.

Jennifer Chaloemtiarana
General Counsel

Jennifer is responsible for the company’s legal and regulatory affairs. Prior to joining Doximity, Jennifer served as General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Privacy Officer, and Corporate Secretary (SVP) at Castlight Health, the health navigation platform. She also served as Chief Counsel at Levi Strauss & Co. and worked as Associate General Counsel at Netflix, Inc., during its early high-growth stage and launch of its streaming business. Jennifer holds a B.S. from Cornell University and earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.

Joel Davis
SVP Product

Joel Davis leads the product team, focused on building web and mobile applications for physicians and advanced practice clinicians. Since 2010, Joel has been a member of the founding executive team that built and grew Doximity into the leading digital platform for medical professionals. Prior to Doximity, Joel worked at Deloitte Consulting, LLP where he advised clients from across the healthcare industry. Joel holds an M.P.H. from the School of Public Health and an M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. He also holds a B.S. in computer science from Washington University in St. Louis.

Bruno Miranda
SVP Engineering

Bruno is responsible for leading Doximity’s engineering teams across the areas of data, mobile, infrastructure and web engineering. In his decade-plus tenure, Bruno has acted as lead engineer on many of the company’s most important projects, having architected the earliest versions of the company’s core software platform, as well as leading efforts to build out a highly resilient technology stack. Bruno has managed and grown a series of high-performing teams and is responsible for having scaled one of the company’s largest organizations. Before joining Doximity, Bruno spent the previous decade as Lead Engineer and Director of Engineering at successful start-ups such as Hoodiny and Todobebe.

JR Ordonez
SVP Design

JR oversees the user experience (UX) of the Doximity platform, including iOS and Android mobile apps. JR has been with the company since 2010 and is an integral member of the founding executive team that has built and grown Doximity into the leading digital platform for medical professionals. JR is credited with establishing the network’s usability, accessibility, and visual design. Prior to Doximity, he held senior leadership roles in UX design at several prominent digital health start-ups including Epocrates, Inc. and Casamba. He holds a B.A. in Art and Illustration from California State University in Northridge.

Ben Greenberg
SVP, GM Commercial Products

Ben is responsible for driving Doximity’s commercial product strategy, including growing and scaling new commercial products. He has over thirty years of experience building digital products, most notably as WebMD / Medscape’s VP of Mobile Products and User Experience. He later served as Eric Topol's Chief Product Officer at Scripps Research Translational Institute and Chief Product Officer at Cancer Treatment Centers of America. He received his B.A. from Oberlin College.

Kevin Spain

Mr. Spain has served as a member of our board of directors since March 2011. Since March 2011, Mr. Spain has served as general partner of Emergence Capital Partners, a venture capital firm, and served as a principal of Emergence Capital Partners from September 2006 to March 2011. Prior to joining Emergence Capital Partners, Mr. Spain was a member of the corporate development group of Microsoft Corporation, a computer software company, from June 2003 to May 2006, and a member of the corporate development group of Electronic Arts Inc., a game software content and services company, from September 2000 to May 2003. Mr. Spain was previously co-founder and chief executive officer of Madison.com, Inc., which provided a hosted marketing management solution for small and medium sized companies. Mr. Spain served on the board of directors of Veeva Systems Inc., or Veeva, a public cloud-computing company, from May 2008 to July 2014. Mr. Spain currently serves on the board of directors of several privately held companies. Mr. Spain holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Phoebe Yang

Ms. Yang has served as a member of our board of directors since August 2022. Ms. Yang currently serves on the board of directors of each of GE Healthcare, a leading global S&P 500 medical technology and solutions company, since January 2023, and CommonSpirit Health, one of the largest U.S. tax-exempt health systems, since July 2020. From May 2020 to September 2022, Ms. Yang served as General Manager, Amazon Web Services, Healthcare, where she has led Amazon’s cloud business focused on enabling healthcare enterprises with advanced cloud technologies. From 2013 to 2018, Ms. Yang served as Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Architect for Population Health at Ascension Health. As a C-suite or executive leader in four publicly-traded companies, appointee in two Presidential Administrations, and experienced board member for companies ranging from $5B to $35B revenue, she has extensive experience in digital transformation, global expansion, technology, consumer media, and M&A at some of the world’s most valued and admired companies. Ms. Yang holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia, and a J.D. from the Stanford Law School, where she was President of the Stanford Law Review.

Kira Wampler

Ms. Wampler has served as a member of our board of directors since March 2020. Ms. Wampler has served as venture chair of Redesign Health Inc., a private investment firm and healthcare innovation platform, since February 2020. From November 2016 to March 2019, Ms. Wampler served as the chief executive officer of Art.com Inc., a private art retailer company, during which time she led the company through its acquisition by Walmart Inc. From December 2014 to November 2016, Ms. Wampler served as the chief marketing officer of Lyft, Inc., a mobile ride-sharing app. Ms. Wampler also previously served as chief marketing officer of Trulia, Inc., a private real estate listing company, from November 2013 to November 2014. Ms. Wampler has served on the boards of directors of private companies including Candid Care Co. from September 2019 to January 2023, Personal Capital Corporation from March 2019 to August 2020, and Healthline Media, Inc from March 2019 to August 2019. Ms. Wampler holds a B.S. in Foreign Services from Georgetown University School of Foreign Services, where she majored in History and Diplomacy, and an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Regina Benjamin, M.D.

Dr. Benjamin has served as a member of our board since September 2020. Dr. Benjamin is currently the founder and chief executive officer of, and is a practicing physician at, BayouClinic, Inc., a hospital and healthcare company, since January 1990. Dr. Benjamin was appointed as the 18th United States Surgeon General by President Barack Obama in July 2009 and served in that role from November 2009 to August 2013. In addition, Dr. Benjamin has approximately 30 years of experience as a practicing family physician. Dr. Benjamin has served as the founder and chief executive officer of the Gulf States Health Policy Center since June 2013, and as the NOLA.com/Times Picayune Endowed Chair in Public Health Sciences at Xavier University of Louisiana since September 2013. Dr. Benjamin currently serves as a member of the boards of directors of each of Computer Programs and Systems, Inc., a public technology company, since November 2017, ConvaTec Group plc, a public medical products and technologies company, since August 2017, Diplomat Pharmacy, Inc., a private company providing specialty pharmacy services, following its acquisition by OptimRx, since April 2017, and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and Health Plan since June 2015. Dr. Benjamin also serves on the advisory board of HealthQuest Capital, a private growth capital firm, since May 2020. Dr. Benjamin served on the board of directors of Alere Inc., a private medical device company, from December 2013 to July 2015, Oak Street Health, Inc., a public healthcare services company, from October 2020 - May 2023, Ascension Health Alliance, a private healthcare company from June 2014 - June 2023, and as a member of the March of Dimes Board of Trustees from June 2014 to June 2019. Dr. Benjamin holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Xavier University of Louisiana, an M.D. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and an M.B.A. from Tulane University.

Tim Cabral

Mr. Cabral has served as a member of our board of directors since September 2020. From February 2010 to September 2020, Mr. Cabral served as chief financial officer for Veeva, during which time the company launched its initial public offering. From February 2008 to February 2010, Mr. Cabral served as chief financial officer and chief operations officer for Modus Group, LLC, a private a wireless solutions and services company, and served as chief financial officer and vice president of operations for Agistics, Inc., a private employee management services company, from March 2005 to June 2007. Prior to its acquisition by Oracle Corporation, Mr. Cabral spent more than seven years at PeopleSoft, Inc., a computer technology company, beginning in November 1997, where he held various positions, including vice president of products & technology finance from June 1999 to January 2005 and senior director of corporate financial planning and analysis from November 1997 to June 1999. Since December 2019, Mr. Cabral has served on the board of directors of ServiceTitan, Inc. a private cloud-based home services company. Mr. Cabral previously served on the board of directors of Apttus Corporation, a private software provider, from October 2017 to October 2018, when it was acquired by Thoma Bravo. Mr. Cabral holds a B.S. in Finance from Santa Clara University and an M.B.A. from the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University.
