Summary

  • My approach to life is that every day is a gift to be grateful for, each moment has a purpose and I take the same approach with those people who come to see me. Every single one of my patients deserve the highest quality medical and surgical care one can possibly receive within the scope of my abilities and to provide them the personal attention that is rare in the current 'rushed, defensive' world of medicine. Passionate about my profession and chosen field of Orthopaedic Surgery I make it my duty to master those areas of orthopedic surgery that are of great interest to me to best serve those people who come to see me. Those areas include arthroscopic surgery as a result of sports injury and other active lifestyles and joint replacement for those who have debilitating arthritic pain that prevents them from leading a productive and enjoyable lifestyle. My qualifications include working and training under some of the best surgeons in the fields of sports medicine and joint replacement at the University of Florida; I worked side by side with the Chief of Sports Medicine taking care of injured University of Florida athletes and the Chairman of Orthopaedic Surgery Department at the University of Florida who designed the Exactech artificial hip and knee. My scope of experience has also included caring for our nation's injured men and women as an orthopedic surgeon for the U.S. Army Medical Corp, while assigned to Madigan Medical Center at Fort Lewis, Washington. These professional experiences have enhanced my ability in my private practice to provide my patients with all the advanced techniques and knowledge needed to successfully care for their orthopedic injuries and conditions. I aim to practice what I preach so do my best to spend time with my wife, 5 kids for life is gloriously full and crazy and I eagerly try to stay in shape so I can continue to run, mountain bike, surf and be ready for the next adventure. Go Gators! Go Army! Go Navy!
