Summary

  • I am a medical educator and geriatric psychiatrist. I provide care to older adults with depression, anxiety, dementia and other mental health conditions, and teaches others to do the same. I have directed the University of Wisconsin psychiatry residency since 2004. I am past president of the American Association of Directors of Psychiatric Residency Training (AADPRT). My research focuses on public health approaches to improving the care of people with dementia. In 2019, my first book, "Behavioral & Psychological Symptoms of Dementia," was published.
