Summary

• I am a family nurse practitioner who specializes in medical oncology at Danbury Hospital’s Praxair Cancer Center. I assisted in the development of several programs in the Praxair Cancer Center including breast cancer survivorship, HIPEC program for the OR and am currently working on a symptom management pilot program. I have contributed articles to our Oncology Patient NewsLetter.
  I attended St. Vincent’s Hospital School of Nursing in New York City, New York, to attain my Nursing Diploma. Then went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Mercy College in Dobbs ferry, New York and then earned my Master of Science degree at Pace University in Pleasantville, New York. I hold a national certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a family nurse practitioner and is an Advanced Oncology Certified nurse practitioner (AOCNP) through the Oncology Nurses Society (ONS). I am a clinical preceptor/mentor for Western Connecticut State University nurse practitioner students, BLS instructor, and Train the Trainer ELNEC Instructor. I enjoy hiking, bicycling and taking wild life photographs in my spare time.
