Originally trained in Israel (Hadassah Medical School), he completed Neurology training in 2007 (Dartmouth Hitchcock).
From 2007-2025 Eric practiced in Maine Neurology/Maine Medical Center/Maine Health in Maine.
During that time Eric was the neurology clerkship director for medical students from the University of Vermont Medical School and Tufts University Medical School (2008-2018). Eric ran a busy dementia/cognitive neurology clinic and lead the Maine Neurology/Maine Health Neurology Dementia Research Program (2009-2025). Eric lead the amyloid immunotherapy program in Maine Health (2023-2025)
Starting 2026, Eric will be the director of the University of Texas Tyler Dementia Center.
