- Dr. Harry Sax is an academic surgeon and healthcare executive He earned his MD from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1982 and completed his surgical residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Dr. Sax also holds a Master’s degree in Health Care Management from Harvard University. He serves as the Associate Dean for International Programs at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and previously held the position of Chief of Surgery at The Miriam Hospital. His expertise includes nutrition, short bowel syndrome, and healthcare management, among others. Dr. Sax has published multiple peer-reviewed articles and is the principal investigator in clinical research on the efficacy of GLN dipeptide in the SICU. He is recognized as a Fellow by both the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American College of Surgeons.
