Summary
- I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I've worked as an RN for 20 years and have over 14 years working in the mental health field. I decided to specialize in behavioral health after seeing firsthand how people with mental health challenges were stigmatized in the medical environment. I believe its important to treat patients who live with mental health conditions with the same level of compassion as those with medical conditions.
My goal with medication management is to work with clients to develop a plan to increase their capacity to cope with daily life stressors through medication management and therapy.
