Dr. McConathy is currently a Professor of Radiology at the UAB School of Medicine and serves as the Director of Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics. His research focuses on PET/MRI for neurodegenerative diseases, nuclear medicine theranostics for cancer, and radiolabeled amino acids.
