Summary
- I am a board certified Hematologist and Oncologist with over 10 years of clinical experience in a busy community practice, with involvement in many facets of clinical and administrative leadership. Leadership roles have included serving as Cancer Liaison Physician, Cancer committee member, PI in clinical trials, and an executive board member of a larger practice under the umbrella of US Oncology. I have been able to build my personal patient panel to become one of the most productive members of my practice. This was accomplished with my friendly and comforting bedside manner, as well as proactively generating a strong referral base. Some of my clinical interests include Lung and GI Cancers, as well as breast cancer, where I have served on the breast cancer steering committee at Holy Redeemer Hospital for over the past 3 years. I have significant experience in both malignant and consultative hematology.
In addition to my clinical skills and accomplishments, I also have participated in transforming my practice to provide high quality, lower cost care as part of OCM and other payer projects. An important aspect of this transformation was helping improve office triage to hep reduce ER visits and unneeded hospitalization. My practice has also successfully implemented in office dispensing for oral oncolytics, for which I had a role in oversight.
With my breadth of experience, leadership skills, and knowledge of current oncology market trends, I feel that I would be a valuable addition to your organization.
