Dr. Parham Ayazi is a board-certified infectious disease specialist and founding partner of Alma Infectious Disease, an independent outpatient infectious disease practice in Sun Lakes, Arizona. He established Alma Infectious Disease to provide specialized outpatient infectious disease care and ensure continuity during the critical transition from hospital to home.

His clinical focus includes HIV/AIDS medicine, infections in immunocompromised and transplant patients, mycobacterial disease, valley fever, and complex outpatient infectious disease management.

Dr. Ayazi completed his Infectious Disease fellowship at the University of Arizona and his Internal Medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic. He maintains hospital privileges at Chandler Regional Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center while providing dedicated outpatient care at Alma Infectious Disease.

He has published research on the utility of (1→3)-β-D-glucan testing in the diagnosis of coccidioidomycosis and received the IDWeek Award for Top Abstracts in Diagnostics (2021).
