- I have been retired from orthopaedic surgery for 14 years. Recently published "The Oath" a book of historical fiction about two doctors at Auschwitz. Named one of the best novels of 2016 by Kirkus. A second novel, “The List” was published this year and follows the activity of the Jewish Brigade in pursuing Nazi criminals in Europe and South America .Married, now live in Phoenix Az with my wife Becky.
