Steven Bennett DO

Summary

• Steven Bennett, DO, is an orthopaedic surgery resident at Kettering Health Network in Dayton, OH. He is a previous Butler University Men's Basketball player in Indianapolis, Indiana even after sustaining 3 knee injuries during high school. He earned Big East All Academic Honors all 4 years while with the team. He was a part of three NCAA tournament runs, including a Sweet 16 run his senior year in 2017, while also serving as the team's co-captain.
  
  He graduated from Butler in 2017 and soon thereafter began his medical education at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017. In 2021 he graduated and began his residency in orthopedic surgery the same year. His work includes research on leadership training in residency curriculum's, knee arthroplasty and the reporting standards in clinical trials related to ACL injuries, with his findings published in respected journals such as Archives of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery and The American Journal of Sports Medicine (AJSM).

  Lastly, Dr. Bennett will be completing his training with an Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at The Ohio State University.
