Dr. Abeles has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications, including work appearing in the New England Journal of Medicine and Annals of Internal Medicine, and was a contributing author to the 2020 ACR Gout Guidelines. He has played an active role in advancing the field through sustained engagement with the American College of Rheumatology, serving on multiple committees and initiatives spanning quality improvement, guideline development, practice policy, and the future of rheumatology care delivery.
